WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION International women's day is celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political and socioeconomic achievements of women. It is also a focal point in the women's right movement,  bringing attention to issues such as gendergender equality, reproductive rights and violence and abuse against women. We the students of SVMCTE, Vendar conducted women's day celebration on March 8, 2022.Our programme was arranged and coordinated by Red group. Programme started with a prayer song followed by the message from our principal Dr. Lalamani miss. Then there were lots of activities and programmes related to women's day. There were skit, dance, tableau, powerpoint presentation, quiz programme, interactive session etc. All the programmes were performed well. Then there was a speech on the importance of equal rights in society. It was a nice day with lots of activities. Our programme ended with national anthem. 

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION National Science Day is celebrated every year on 28 February to mark the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by Sir C.V. Raman on 28 February 1928.It was this discovery that got Sir C.V. Raman a  Nobel Prize  in Physics in 1930.The theme of National Science Day 2022 is "Integrated approach in science and technology for a sustainable future". We the students of SVMCTE, Vendar decided to conduct the national science day along with the inauguration of science club and maths club of first year students.Our principal respected Lalamani miss delivered the presidential address. Sri Lekshmi krishna miss inaugurated the programme. Then there was the publication of science magazine. First year students initiated to conduct a quiz programme based on the power point presentations. It was a nice session. Shilpa from commerse department became the winner.
